Review: Romania has been at the epicenter of its own minimal sound world for decades. Artists from the country seem to bring in subtle classical influences and chamber music designs to their after-party grooves. VID steps up now to the fifth Kontent EP and does just that. 'Upsidedown' is all glitchy textures, dry claps and clipped beats, 'Red' has accordion-style melodies over watery droplets and pained vocal sounds while 'Away' is nice wet dub tech with fluid bass and haunting little melodies.
